When the going gets tough, “DONT QUIT” is a saying I have always heard, but never took into consideration until my senior year of high school in my pharmacy tech class. I can honestly say it was worth every bit of what I put into it. Things started out really rough and I tried dropping the class three times but until this day I am very thankful my instructor (Mr. Lamine Gueye) and principle changed my mind every time. Although taking and passing the class isn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done, it was worth the try and I’m glad I gave it a chance. Mr.G was an amazing instructor, and he taught me a substantial amount of valuable information. He made learning fun and even though pharmacy isn’t what I’m majoring in, I have grown to like it and I really love my job. I’m currently a technician at Walgreens I have been working there for about two months now and my plans are to stay until I graduate college and I’m able to get off into my nursing career. I’d Like to give a special thanks to you guys at MK Education for giving us students a chance I know some of us didn’t do the right thing with the program but you guys have a huge impact on us that did. I could never thank you guys enough.
